Defiance is a MMOFPS set on post-apocalyptic Earth where humans and aliens coexist but not entirely peacefully. Defiance is said to have the customization and large world of a traditional MMORPG but fast-paced and exciting like an FPS.

Transformers Universe beta news mentioned

A prominent Diablo III blog recently mentioned that Transformers Universe will be a fully playable game that will run on the computer. Of course Diablo 3 doesn't have much to do with Transformers other than the fact that both are made by Jagex and Blizzard. It's no coincidence I assure you gamers out there that play games for fun and passing time. It's not a grind unless Transformers are flying around and transforming into cars and shooting missiles at other players.

Visit Banff

Hotels in Banff are expensive so I recommend staying in nearby Calgary and renting a car to go to Banff every day on your trip. Be prepared to pay the park entrance fee though but it's worth the drive. You go up the mountains and pass by lakes. If your destination is skiing resorts then Sunshine is a good one and quite famous too. There is a bunny hill there for newbies and double black diamond slopes at the top for expert skiers. Snowboarding is another great activity you can do during the winter in Banff. I recommend mountain biking or hiking in the warmer months but camping can be done all year round in the Banff national park. No doubt that Banff is the most exciting place in Alberta, even more fun than Calgary.

Transformers Online is a browser-based massively multiplayer online game currently under development by British online computer game developer Jagex Games Studio and American toy company Hasbro. Very little is known about the game beyond that it will be released in North America, Latin America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia in 2012. The Prisoner of Glouphrie quest guide in RuneScape

So we found a path to Glouphrie in the last quest. It's near the elves area in RuneScape. There's a new spirit tree location already thanks to the Path to Glouphrie quest, so yet another spirit-tree teleport location will be awesome. There's a new area mentioned called Arposandra. This is some land near the "edge of the world". What does that mean? RuneScape isn't on a round world like Earth so perhaps Arposandra is really on the very edge.

The gnomes will be updated to look less green and more graphically appealing with this February RuneScape update. We've already seen the Wilderness come out so something that has nothing to do with PKing would be great.

Here's what RuneScape.com says about the new quest, Prisoner of Glouphrie:

"We’re going to need an adventurer: someone who will recklessly bound into Arposandra, throw a gnome over their shoulder and be back home in time for cocktails."

Golrie has noticed that a slip of paper he’s been using as bookmark is actually a letter from his grandfather, discussing his search for the mythical city of Arposandra. Put your Agility, Thieving, Construction and Runecrafting (60+) levels to the test in this most gnomic of adventures. Complex puzzles with generous XP rewards and additions to the glider network await as you explore the fabled city for the one gnome who can reveal it to the world! High-level farmers will also be pleased to hear that completing the quest will give access to a new spirit tree patch and faster access to Lletya.

The quest guide will be available once you click on the name of the quest in RuneScape and if that's not sufficient, then just Google it.

RuneFest USA

RuneFest should never have been organized in the UK because there just aren't enough people to go to it. However RuneFest USA would be a bigger thing because more people can travel to it and more Americans play RuneScape.

War of Legends will be free

Published by Jagex Ltd, War of Legends is a free strategy game a lot like Evony or TribalWars.

Since Jagex have set up a website for War of Legends, it seems that this game will be bigger than the usual FunOrb game.

For now we know that War of Legends will involve selecting heros (legends if you will) and then recruiting troops. Once there are enough troops and resources to support them, there will be multiplayer war. Again, it sounds a lot like Ikariam, Evony, or TribalWars.

More information on this soon.
