begin Point: Mos Le'Harmless or Port Phasmatys

To begin: Speak to Bill Teach

1. Speak with Bill Teach in the pub in Port Phasmatys or on the ship on the way to Mos Le'Harmless and talk about Rocking Out. Ask him about the infamous Rabid Jack. He will reftry to use to tell you, but will instead direct you to Young Ralph, who has locked himself up in the Customs and Excise prison.

begin

2. Put on your Pirate clothes and head over to the Customs and Excise office in Rimmington. Once there, talk to the Customs Sergeant and try different options until he believes you are a pirate. When he is convinced, he will arrest you. Store all your items in the locker (including equipped ones) to have them sent to the bank, then talk to the sergeant one more time.

Sergeant

3. You will then appear at 'The Rock', a prison for pirates. Heavy-Handed Harry will put you in a cell, which happens to have a hole in the wall, and will order you not to escape. Shouting through the barred window will not get Young Ralph's attention, so you will need to search another way.

4. Search the rubble just outside the hole in the wall to search an accordion. Shout through the door of your cell and Heavy-Handed Harry will give you a quill, some paper, and an ink bottle.

Rubble

5. Take the tin cup from the floor of your cell and tap at the pipes near Ralph's barred window. Keep the pipe you obtain. Then try to use your cup with the door of the cell three times to get a Fishy prison uniform top.

Tap

6. try to use the bottle of ink with the paper, then smash the empty bottle on the sharp rock outside. Now try to use the smashed bottle with the accordion. Finally, try to use the pipe and the inky paper with it to make a vacuum pump.

Smash

7. A few squares northeast of your cell is a perch rock. try to use the Fishy prison uniform top on it to attract a seagull, then try to use the vacuum pump with the seagull to catch it. Now try to use your new vacuum pump and gull with Ralph's barred window to get him to turn around.

Perch

8. Shout through the window at Ralph and he will inform you that you need the Captain's Marks before he can tell you about Rabid Jack. The Captains you need marks from are Izzy No-Beard, Bill Teach, Brass Hand Harry, One-Eyed Hector, and Braindeath. Becatry to use Hector is dead you will have to see his boson, Frank. Leave the cell, head east, and dive off the pier to escape to Karamja. You can take the gnome glider from there to return to the mainland (must have completed The Grand Tree quest).

Captain Izzy No-Beard

1. Captain Izzy can be found in Brimhaven at the entrance to the Agility arena. Talk to him about the Rocking Out quest and he will ask you to bring him the brooch of Wanda the Fish, which is back in the Rock Island prison.

2. Return to the prison by speaking to the Customs Sergeant back in Rimmington, then search the bed to search a crude lockpick. try to use it on the door to open it.

3. Now murder the Customs Officer (level 35) standing outside. Put on the clothes and wield the scimitar he drops. None of the other officers will attack you.

4. Climb two sets of stairs to reach the top floor of the prison, then try entering the evidence room. After a short conversation with the Locker Officer, he will let you in. Search through the cabinets until you search the file for Wanda the Fish.

Cabinet

5. try to use the file on the Locker Officer and he will give you the Brooch. Go back downstairs, enter your cell, and escape off the pier the same way as before. Return to Cap'n Izzy No-Beard and give him the Brooch to receive his mark.

Captain Bill Teach and Captain Brass Hand Harry

1. Captain Bill is at the quest begining point, on board the ship between Port Phasmatys and Mos Le'Harmless or at the Port Phasmatys pub. He will tell you to bring him the Idol of many heads from a pirate called 50 Ships Mufassah. At this point, Bill will also give you a letter of introduction that you will later need to talk to Brass Hand Harry.

2. Grab your Book o' piracy if you haven't already, then take the boat from Port Phasmatys to Mos Le'Harmless. Upon landing, head northwest to the northern pub (Harpoon Joe's Hotry to use of Rum), go upstairs, and talk to 50 Ships Mufassah.

Mufassah

3. In order to see the idol, you will have to join Mufassah's crew. Once you do, he will explain that it is on the sea floor off Dragontooth island. You will eventually have to dive to get it, but first speak to Captain Brass Hand Harry nearby.

4. Harry will agree to give you his mark, if you will fix his artificial hands. Get 2 spools of Bronze wire and a hammer, then take apart the broken hands. try to use the pieces on each other to open up a window, then move the pieces into their correct spots. Once you assemble it, give it to Harry.

Hand

5. He will then give you an ink pad and some paper. try to use the Brass hand on the ink pad and then try to use it on the paper to make Harry's mark. Show this mark to Harry.
6. Now it's time to go search the Idol of many heads. Return to Port Phasmatys, get your Fishbowl helmet, Diving apparatus, and 25 Ecto-tokens (10 with Ring of Charos) and talk to the Ghost Captain to the east. He will take you to Dragontooth Island for your Ecto-tokens.

Ghost Captain

7. Once there, head northeast until you come to a chain in the water. Put on your Diving apparatus and Fishbowl helmet then dive down into the water.

Dive

8. Once down, swim east and catch the swimming Karamthulhu to get a key.

Catch

9. Next swim over to the ship to the west and climb up the stairs. Then open the chest with your key to obtain a crowbar.

Chest

10. Now go back down the stairs and down the ladder in the middle of the ship. try to use your crowbar to lever away the debris. Then dig away the mess to uncover the idol. Take the Idol of many heads and return to the surface via the anchor to the south.

Idol

11. Return to Port Phasmatys via the Ghost Captain. Give the idol to Bill Teach in the pub to obtain his mark.

Bosun Redbeard Frank and Captain Braindeath

1. Redbeard Frank is just south of the Port Sarim pub. Talk to him and he will agree to give you his mark if you bring him proof from the monks on Braindeath Island that Rabid Jack has returned.

Frank

2. Return to Mos Le'Harmless on Bill Teach's ship and talk to Brother Tranquility near the dock about the letter for Frank.

Brother Tranquility

3. Once you have the letter, return to Port Sarim and give the letter to Frank. Unfortunately he will want more proof, so you must go speak to Captain Donnie on Braindeath Island.

4. Return to Port Phasmatys and grab your Pirate clothing, some Charcoal, and at least 20 coins. Next, head north to Pirate Pete and ask him to take you to Braindeath Island.

Pirate Pete

5. While you are here, talk to Captain Braindeath nearby to the west and he will give you some disguises that you will need later.

Captain Braindeath

Donnie

7. Head northwest to 50% Luke and try to use the Charcoal on him to obtain a Charcoal rubbing of Rabid Jack's signature.

Luke

8. Return to Redbeard Frank at Port Sarim and show him the rubbing. He will believe that Rabid Jack has returned and will give you his mark.

9. Next talk to the Bartender just north of Frank and ask about 'rum'. He will tell you that if 5 other people ask him for it, he will order some.

Bartender

10. Speak to him one more time and tell him "I'll have a drink...and you have one too!" Repeat this five times and the Bartender will become drunk. After the 5th beer go outside and put on a disguise, then go back and talk to him about the rum. Repeat this with each of the 5 disguises and the Bartender will give you an order. Take his order to Captain Braindeath to receive his mark.

9. Once you have all 5 marks, return to Rimmington and speak with the Customs Sergeant to obtain a file. try to use the marks with the file. Then speak to the Customs Sergeant twice more to return to 'The Rock'.

10. Once there, search the bed one more time to get the crude lockpick, open the door and murder the Customs Officer, wear the Customs clothing and scimitar, and then go to the evidence room on the top floor.

11. Talk to the Locker Officer and he will give you your file. Return to your cell and show the file to Young Ralph and you will see an awesome cutscene.

Jack

Congratulations! Quest Complete!

Quest Complete

Note: You can ransack the cabinets in the top floor of the Customs Office on 'The Rock' for Thieving XP and items.

After the quest, you can also go back and talk to Bill Teach to get a Magical cage. Next talk to 50 Ships Mufassah back on Mos Le'Harmless to obtain an Ex-parrot. try to use the parrot with the cage to begin the process of making it into an Ex-Ex-parrot.

Leveling to 60

Before level 60, one must consider whether or not a full-Demonology build is viable, since level 50 is the earliest one possibly can obtain a Felguard. With the availability of respeccing, a warlock might consider taking a hybrid destruction/affliction build with access to Shadowburn and instant-cast Corruption, both of which provide more immediate benefits. Full Demonology builds only start to display comparable benefits near level 40. Approximately level 50, then, the warlock possibly can respec to receive their Felguard. Demonology builds are used more for survival, and do not have the capability of killing mass amounts of things without drinking water or eating food.

However, a warlock that goes down the affliction talent tree possibly can use an imp(on passive) and drain life to keep at full life, then at the end of the battle gain all mana back with dark pact leaving little to no down time.

It possibly can be said that an affliction build is the way to go when leveling for several reasons. Demonology generally deals less damage, while destruction is worse due to more downtime. All one needs to effectively use an affliction build is few practice with DoT spells and Fear/Howl of Terror. The technique is to pull several mobs at once, place DoTs on all targets and then fear them. Drain Life is then used to regain health, which possibly can be converted into mana.
Affliction

The DoTs Curse of Agony and Corruption are few of the most mana-effective spells available for the Warlock. That is, the amount of damage per mana is higher compared to Direct Damage spells like Shadow Bolt. The Affliction talent tree possibly can improve on these even more.

There are problems using DoTs in parties and raids. There is a risk that the mob is killed before the completion of a DoT. This is especially bad for Curse of Agony, that causes more of its damage near the end of its duration. If this happens, then mana and time will be wasted.
Unstable Affliction/Shadowburn 45/5/11

Talent Calculator Link

This build goes to the end of the affliction tree to get another DoT (Unstable Affliction) which does a large amount of instant damage if dispelled and silences the dispeller. It also has 11 points in Destruction to get Shadowburn and 5 points in Demonology for Demonic Embrace.

Notes:

* 2 points in Suppression gives a 99% chance of hitting an equal level character, which is the most possible. Points from Shadow Embrace or Empowered Corruption may be moved here if combating higher level mobs/players.
* Improved Howl of Terror, Contagion, and Unstable Affliction at the end of the tree make this build much more suitable for PvP.
* Shadowburn and a faster Shadow Bolt give the build an extra punch.
* You may want to change this build to 43/7/11 and get the improved Healthstone which is a real bonus in instances, battlegrounds and especially in arena battles.

Contagion/Demonic Sacrifice (SM/DS with Contagion) 40/21/0

Talent Calculator Link

This build mainly leaves out Unstable Affliction to get Demonic Sacrifice. It combines heavy DoT damage with the main benefits from the Demonology tree, including DS, which offers a lot of flexibility. In general, sacrificing the Succubus for extra damage or the Voidwalker for extra health regeneration is preferred.

The major downsides of this build are the losses of the minion and of two Affliction ultimates, namely Dark Pact and Unstable Affliction. Whereas the former spell possibly can be partly replaced by a sacrificed Felhunter or Voidwalker (at the cost of another sacrifice), the latter has no viable substitution (neither as an additional DoT nor as a powerful weapon against dispelling classes).
Dark Pact/Ruin (SM/Ruin with DP) 40/0/21

Talent Calculator Link

This build enhances the SM/Ruin-build with Affliction talents, mainly to improve Shadow Bolt's damage potential and DoTs. It is a very potent instance/raiding spec until later in the game when the duration of boss fights exceeds 1-2 minutes. Then, Unstable Affliction clearly outnumbers Ruin. Ultimately at T5/6 gear level, 0/21/40 is the most devastating spec. The build offers excellent survivability paired with high damage output. In contrast to heavy destruction builds mana is rarely an issue. While there are many different tastes of SM/Ruin w/ DP the following elaborates a specific build in more detail trying to make the choice of talents comprehensible. Focus will be on the affliction talents as choice of talents in the destruction tree is comparatively straight forward. Shadowburn adds instant burst damage, thus addressing the greatest downside of affliction builds.

Talents

* Suppression reduces resists which translates into more damage. The number of points placed in suppression should be chosen to bridge the gap between your spell hit on gear and the cap.
* Improved Corruption, Empowered Corruption (with +dmg gear), and Malediction make Corruption the most important DoT of the build.
* Improved Lifetap means more mana per global cooldown which means more damage.
* Improved Drain Soul mitigates threat by 10% which means more damage. The mana return is a nice side-effect.
* Soul Siphon is a sensible tier breaker as it proves useful when health is an issue.
* Improved Curse of Weakness receives 0 points as Curse of Shadow should be used in almost all situations.
* Fel Concentration receives 0 points as drain tanking is not the objective here.
* Improved Curse of Agony receives 0 points as either Curse of Shadow or Elements is used in almost all fights.
* Amplify Curse is a good investment to boost damage for the occasions when Curse of Agony is used. Both should be combined with a castsequence macro.
* Nighfall increases your SB ouput. Together with Malediction, Improved Shadowbolt, Devastation and Ruin it translates to more damage.
* Siphon Life adds to survivabilty and effectively increases the mana pool in longer boss fights. However, it should not be part of the standard cast rotation.
* Curse of Exhaustion proves helpful in end game raid content but only one warlock should skill it.
* Shadow Embrace counts as Affliction effect for Soul Siphon which is the main reasoning to put a point in it.
* Malediction increases total raid/ group damage.
* Improved Howl of Terror receives 0 points as the build focuses on damage.

More Discussion

Variations:

* 5/5 in Shadows Embrace is a decent choice for 25-man raiders to reduce damage on the tank.
* 2 points possibly can be taken from the affliction tree (the maximum without losing Malediction) and placed into Improved Imp.

Dark Pact/Emberstorm (Natural Evolution of SM/Ruin) 31/0/30

This SM/Ruin-build focuses on the Destruction tree to give the Warlock more flexibility with the two schools.

Talent Calculator Link
Dark Pact/Mana Feed (Evolution of SM/Sacrifice) 33/28/0

Dark Pact/Mana Feed is an Evolution of SM/Sacrifice.

It's primary purpose is a combination of solo questing/farming/grinding and Crowd control in instances.

For soloing it includes instant cast DoTs/DD as you will be Drain-tanking the critters your self whilst draining the life force out of them using their life force to keep you alive.

For instancing it includes Improved Succubus and Improved Enslave Demon for Crowd control; Dark Pact to recover mana from your pet; Mana Feed to give your Succubus more mana during a long fight.

Talent Builds

* DP/MF Amplify Curse + Exhaustion
* DP/MF Curse of Agony

Build Details

Shadow Mastery and Demonic Sacrifice compliment each other giving a combination for 25% extra shadow damage.

As you will be Drain-tanking, without a pet as you will have sacrificed Succubus for the extra shadow damage buff, you will want a lot of stamina and health, this is as important as shadow damage - Demon STA/Health talents are taken to help.

At level 70 you will want 8,000 HP with over 600 +shadow damage. Drain Life should be about 400 DPS with 4 affliction debuffs on the mob.

It's slightly lower DPS than spamming Shadow Bolt, but this way you keep your mana and health recharged. Assuming you have 8kHP you possibly can regenerate your health from 60% to 100% with two Life Drains.

You'll want to have Fel Armor up at all times, for an extra +130dmg.

Talent Break down

* Dark Pact is taken to Dark Pact Succubus before you Sacrifice her, also useful in instances when combined with Mana Feed.
* You possibly can also summon your Succubus, mana tap and resummon her, if you run out of water.
* Mana Feed is taken to quickly regenerate your Succubus' mana during a long CC.
* Amplify Curse is taken to boost Curse of Doom for bosses.
* Curse of Exhaustion is taken for kiting.
* Curse of Exhaustion & Amplify Curse possibly can be replaced by Improved Curse of Agony
* Shadow Embrace is taken to add an extra Affliction debuff to make Drain Life 4% better. Only one rank is taken out of five points, because you want it for its debuff not for its damage reduction.
* Improved Drain Soul is taken to regain 15% at the end of a fight in replacement to having an imp to Dark Pact

Affliction/Demonology build 42/19/0

Talent Calculator Link

This build combines mana-efficiency with DPS. Improved Curse of Weakness, Improved Curse of Agony, and Malediction were all taken so any of the curses you are in charge of are all more effective. Improved Drain Soul was taken for the threat reduction effect. Improved Imp was taken for the 30% increase to Blood Pact.

When you are raiding, an Imp should be used in passive for both Blood Pact and as a mana-battery for Dark Pact.
Unstable Affliction/Destructive Reach raid build 44/0/17

This build a key warlock raiding build, and provides many important raid synergy effects, while providing decent damage to new warlocks.

* Talent Calculator Link (if spell hit is good)
* Talent Calculator Link (with Suppression)

Points should be moved from Fel Concentration and Improved Curse of Agony to Suppression to bridge the spell hit rating cap, if one should exist.

Malediction provides much-needed damage boost to Curse of Shadow and Curse of the Elements. Shadow Embrace reduces damage done by the debuffed target and helps reduce the healing required on the main tank. Curse of Exhaustion helps the warlock kite which is useful in certain situations, such as Vashj's Coilfang Strider adds.

SM/Sacrifice 30/21/10

This is a DPS raiding build that is a cross between heavy affliction and 0/21/40 sac destro. It is generally NOT recommended for raid DPS because 42/0/19 and 0/21/40 are both generally considered superior in raid environments[1], but is here for completeness because it is an often discussed build.

Talent Calculator Link

Because your demon is sacrificed, progression through affliction stops before Dark Pact but 5/5 Shadow Mastery is obtained for DPS. Improved Shadow Bolt and Bane are taken to give punch to your shadow bolts. A succubus is sacrificed for an additional +15% shadow damage. Demonic Aegis is also picked up for few extra spell damage from Fel Armor.

As with other sacrifice builds, talents possibly can be shuffled near the demonology tree between master summoner, healthstones, improved imp, voidwalker and succubus and others as desired.

The main criticisms are that while Demonic Embrace is taken, your demon is sacrificed so you do not benefit from Blood Pact which is offered by an affliction build so survivability is not signifipossibly cantly increased. It lacks the raid utility of an affliction build by not having a demon available and not having Malediction or enough affliction points spare for Shadows Embrace. It relies on shadow bolts as its main source of DPS, but lacks the big improvements of Devastation and Ruin offered by 0/21/40. Finally, the major attraction in the affliction tree, which is the Shadow Mastery talent, is matched and often surpassed by the Shadow and Flame talent taken by 0/21/40 at the kind of gear level where most warlocks start looking to move away from affliction raid support.
Demonology

The Demonology talent tree and the use of summoned demons are what mainly distinguishes a Warlock from a Mage.
Felguard Raiding Build (7/43/11)

Talent Calculator Link

Pros:

* A viable PvP spec
* Soul Link provides survivability
* Moderately DPS
* Decent grindability
* Different pets give flexibility
o Felguard possibly can offtank and DPS - the lack of a taunt that affects more mobs than one is filled with high DPS, thus gaining more aggro as an offtank
o Succubus gives additional CC-ability, increases damage, and possibly can cut mob damage down by decreasing attack speed by 10% with Soothing Kiss.
o Felhunter gives anti-caster ability and survivability in resistance fights
o Imp buffs party HP, minor fire resistance, and a damage shield

Cons:

* Requires alot of micro-management
* Felguard is vulnerable to area attacks
* Less synergy to a raid than an affliction-spec

Having a Felguard raiding spec require you to keep track on your Felguard's positioning, abilities and health. One of the major drawbacks for this spec is keeping your Felguard healed with Health Funnel, if the minion is used as an off-tank. Using the [Void Star Talisman] provides much-needed survivability for your Felguard, and the two-piece bonus of Corruptor Raiment greatly helps reduce the active healing the he requires. Having a shadow priest with Vampiric Embrace in the group also provides passive healing.

Buffs on your Felguard that increase his stamina and intellect, providing you with 15% per point spelldamage increase as per Demonic Knowledge. Therefore it is doubly important that he does not die, as he will lose all buffs on death. It is possible re-summon him, at full or almost-full health and perserve the buffs. The Fel Domination and Master Summoner talents reduce this downtime to half a second, aswell as one additional second of Global Cooldown.

This spec is highly effective for tanking Leotheras' Demon Form, Grand Astromancer Capernian in Kael'Thas' fight, blue beam tanking at netherspite, and several other mobs with spell-based attacks.
Felguard Pure-Raiding Build (0/44/17)

Talent Calculator Link

This build is to maximize damage in 25 man raids but requires a lot of micro-management and understanding of all fights, even trash pulls. Talents that appear in the above spec but were not taken for this spec, like Mana Feed and Shadowburn, were not taken because they aren't needed for 25 man content since Cleave and Anguish will be off most of the time and Shadowburn is generally only for 0/21/40 raid builds. Since Shadow Bolt are the main source of damage, Devastation is crucial for the increased crit and Destructive Reach helps from hitting the Threat Cap too soon. This spec has high gear requirements and using it without at least 2 pieces of Tier 5 is generally inadvisable, the [Void Star Talisman] is also highly recommended to help minimize damage to your Felguard from AoE effects from bosses like Void Reaver.
Felguard Leveling Build (7/41/11)

This spec is focused on three things:

* Survivability
* Low to Zero Downtime
* High DPS

Talent Calculator Link

The general strategy is to send the Felguard in, and while you have mana, Shadowbolt or Immolate. Once you are out of mana, Life Tap to full and Drain Life. Grinding mobs becomes a cycle of fast kills followed by much slower kills.

Corruption and CoA are generally avoided when soloing with this build because a lot of the DoT ticks will never have a chance to hit the already dead mobs. If you find that you're wasting mana with Corruption, you may want to put the first 5 points in the Affliction tree towards Suppression instead.
Demonic Tactics / Ruin (MD/Ruin with DT) (0/40/21)

This spec would provide the basic beneficial survivability and stat boosting abilities from demonology, while getting bonus crit damage from destruction.

Talent Calculator Link

The ideas behind this talent specification are:

* The Demonology talents give a lot of +dmg, especially with a summoned pet. It is not unknown to use an Imp on passive which will lessen threat, but a Succubus will add additional 10% damage instead (matching Shadow Mastery in the Affliction tree), as well as acting like a DoT.
* Demonic sacrifice possibly can be used for cases where there is no use of a pet (especially few boss fights and fights with AoE problems).
* Soul Link is as always nice to have in PvP, but also because of the additional 5% +dmg.
* The main damage in this build is based on only doing CoA (in case the mob lives long enough), and then spamming Shadow Bolts. This will take good advantage of the improvements in the Destruction tree.
* While +crit is of less interest for affliction builds, this build will benefit highly from it.
* An alternative build is to spend 5 points on improving the Succubus (Improved Succubus and Improved Lash of Pain) instead of 5% increased crit chance (Demonic Tactics). While this will lessen the Shadowbolts a little, it will allow for a more deadly Succubus with improved seduction. possibly can be quite useful in many instances.
* Talents in healthstones are benefitial for raids, as a player possibly can hold up to 3 of the varying amount they heal (2080/2288/2496) for the different amount of talents you put in it (0/1/2). Very useful if other warlocks in your guild are lacking talents in this.

Voidwalker/Felguard (20/41/0)

* Phase One: Voidwalker
* Final Build: Felguard

These builds are for demonology/affliction based PvE leveling and soloing. The combination of a buffed pet and Improved Drain Soul greatly reduces the chance to pull aggro from your minion. Drain Life becomes viable for damage and health/mana regen at lvl 30, and using your minion as a strong tank leaves plenty of life left to tap. Lay down DoTs, Drain Life or Shadow Bolt spam (mana efficiency vs. DPS) till mob is almost dead, then Drain Soul (rank 1) at last second for 15% mana regen. Life Tap between fights. This maintains mana with high survivability and good DPS. As a bonus, you will have plenty of souls and enough mana for the occasional shadow bolt spam.

A re-spec is recommended while leveling because Voidwalker and Felguard benefit from a few different talents. Since the demonology tree is very defense-heavy until the upper tiers (soul link, demonic knowledge, master demonologist), affliction talents are used before the Felguard becomes available.

Start with Improved Corruption and Improved Drain Soul. Second, fill demonology down to Improved Voidwalker. Finally, increase your DPS with the affliction tree until you reach level 50-55, when you possibly can re-spec to the Felguard based build. This will noticeably increase your DPS, while building up your mana/life regen on the road to 70.

Misc Builds: (instant dots and the area effect corruption nukes hit 2500+ each target)

* Heavy Damage Build PVP
* Alternative Heavy Damage PVP
* Very Fun Crit-O-Matic PVP

SL/SL (Soul Link and Siphon Life) (21+/31+/0)

Talent Calculator Link

This build combines the survivability provided by the Demonology tree and the health regaining abilities from the Affliction tree. It particularly shines in solo and small-scale PvP, where it normally allows to "tank" enemies by constantly draining their life.

The negative aspects are its susceptibility to dispel effects and the relatively low damage output, compared to pure damage builds.

Notes:

* Due to the heavy use of Drain Life and Corruption, Nightfall possibly can be a powerful addition.
* It was originally stated that Shadow Embrace no longer benefits Soul Siphon. However, it has been experimentally confirmed that it does. The text in the notes was referring to other effects that would process on a debuff or other such effects.

Drain Tank/Felguard (20/41/0)

Talent Calculator Link

This is a good all near build, suitable for farming and 5-man instances, but it especially shines in PvP. It combines all the benefits of the Demonology tree with extra power to your Drain Life and Corruption spells. Improved Life Tap and Drain Life help reduce downtime for you, while Mana Feed helps your Felguard to regain mana at the same time. Between these and Health Funnel, it is very easy to keep both you and your pet up and running at all times, especially if you're farming for extended periods. If mobs or your opponents attack you instead of your Felguard, you possibly can drain tank them quite well, although in PvP Fear then Drain Life, Shadow Bolt, or Incinerate (in addition to Corruption, Immolate, and a curse of course) is preferable. The downside of this build is that your affliction spells don't provide as much DPS as in most affliction-heavy builds. However, the Felguard is incredibly useful in just about any situation and provides great DPS. Moreover, the affliction talents geared towards drain tanking, together with the damage mitigation benefits of the Demonology tree, offer incredible survivability. Also, if you have enough health and aren't under attack, spamming Shadow Bolt or Incinerate (better than Shadow Bolt if Immolate is active) instead of using Drain Life possibly can improve your DPS signifipossibly cantly as long as you have decent +Spell Damage gear.
Destruction
Firelock PvP Build (7/7/47)

This is an extremely high damage PvP spec.

Talent Calculator Link

This build empowers the Warlock's direct damage abilities (of which most are Fire-based, which gives the spec its name). It provides the Warlock with good burst damage (mainly due to Conflagrate, Shadowburn, and Backlash) and high crits (Ruin). It is very good against other Fire- or Shadow-based classes (especially Fire Mages, Shadow Priests and other Warlocks). Soul Leech allows the Warlock to heal themselves. The build also includes talents from other trees which are often considered necessary, namely Demonic Embrace, Improved Corruption, and Improved Life Tap.

There are weaknesses in the build however. Destruction relies on taking down an enemy quickly. It offers little in terms of extra stamina or other aids to survivability. It is weaker against melee classes because melee classes have a greater chance of interrupting spell casting. Rogues are particularly troublefew to a Firelock. The PvP specific talents in the tree are considered weaker than those in the other warlock trees.
DS/S&F (0/21/40)

This is a heavy damage raid spec.

* Fire Spec
* Shadow Spec

Depending on the members of your raid you may want to make your build either shadow or fire. If you raid with a lot of fire Mages(Improved Scorch) then you may want to use the Fire DS/S&F raid spec, but if you raid with shadow priests(Shadow Weaving) then you may want to use the Shadow DS/S&F raiding build.

The fire build should sacrifice an Imp for bonus fire damage, while the shadow build should sacrifice a succubus for bonus shadow damage. The spec excels at raiding, whereas it is not particularly viable in PvP and solo PvE, especially due to its huge mana consumption.

Variations:

* Soul Leech is a powerful talent in a raid environment, allowing the warlock to keep their mana and health relatively high. One option is to take it instead of Backlash for either build.
* Improved Succubus gives extra time on Seduce for pulls where the extra CC offsets the damage lost by not sacrificing her. These points possibly can be taken from Improved Healthstones or Master Summoner.
* Improved Imp possibly can add utility to the warlock in a group or raid environment. A dead warlock with a dead tank does no DPS, so even with the high cost of not sacrificing this possibly can be worth it. These points possibly can be taken from Improved Healthstones or Master Summoner.
* Pyroclasm is an alternative place to put the single point in destruction that the shadow build places in Improved Immolate to add a low chance stun when AOEing. Note that this requires the warlock to use the Fire element for which they're not specialised, and to use Rain of Fire or Hellfire instead of the generally superior Seed of Corruption.

Alternative PvP Spec

Shadow or Fire:
This is a hotly debated subject among end-game raiding warlocks. The damage done by the two specs is very similar, with fire often producing marginally higher personal DPS, however, the shadow warlock's Improved Shadow Bolt is a powerful raid buff that boosts shadow priest and other shadow-based warlocks' damage considerably. The fire spec has no corresponding buff for fire mages and warlocks. Hence raid composition has a great effect on which spec is best for a given situation.

Soloing:
Sacrificing a Voidwalker or Felhunter for health or mana regen is often suggested for solo grinding with this spec to offset its high mana consumption. The ability to summon a demon in 0.5 seconds with Fel Domination means that before engaging a tough enemy a voidwalker possibly can be summoned, sacrificed for a strong personal shield, and then another pet summoned and sacrificed for the DPS buff.
Heavy Destruction (Heavy Destruction 2.0.1) (--/--/41+)

This spec has many of the benefits that a 0/21/40 spec has, but lacking in solid damage output. The only major difference is Shadowfury, which could be very useful in certain situations where aoe is necessary, and in pvp.

If you are commiting this many talents into this build, its hard to justify putting the rest of the talents in affliction, as corruption will not be used very often, except on longer fights, trash mobs will go down too fast to make it practical without your damage focused on it like an affliction lock would, and the only reason would be improved Life Tap (although very nice to have). And also you will lack the talents to gain anything useful from Demonology, although healthstones are benefitial to everyone (and a player possibly can have up to 3 healthstones in their inventory)and bonus stamina,health, mana, and the talents in Demonic Aegis are well worth getting.
Blazing Fury (7/13/41)

Talent Calculator Link

This build is similar to DS/S&F above but without Demonic Sacrifice. The basic idea is to keep up Curse of Elements, cast an Immolate, two-three Incinerate and blow up the Immolate with Conflagrate. In particular not requiring the sacrifice of your pet allows you to use Blood Pact, which is very useful while grouping. Instant Corruption and Improved Life Tap are more useful than the talents beyond 13 points in Demonology. This is a very high damage group build which offers a very good alternative to a heavy Affliction spec. This is a very good spec for both PVE and PVP. If you are looking for a change from spamming Shadowbolt this spec might be just for you.
Nightfall / Shadowfury (NF/Conf with Shadowfury) (18/0/43)

Talent Calculator Link

This build is probably more effective for PvP, because of the shadowfury. However, it could also work in raids or groups because it allows for lot of instant (burst) damage. In addition, when nightfall activates, you get an instant cast for shadow bolt, and when you are in melee combat backlash produces the same effect. This build requires you to have dots applied at all times to produce the maximum number of instant-cast shadow bolts.
Shadow Conflagrate (7/0/44)

Talent Calculator Link

This build is a good balanced PvP and PvE build. It possibly can deal great amount of damage in little time. It also has a variety of talents that help a lot in PvP such as nether protection which will make you defeat shadow priests/other warlocks without it/fire mages 70% of the time with a 30% chance to become immune to most of their spells. Intensity gives a 70% chance to resist interruption in any destruction spell which makes you able to shoot shadowbolts while a warrior/rogue is beating on you. With backlash and devastation you got a total of +8% crit chance with spells. In raiding PvE the DPS is very good. It is comparable with SM/ruin and other older builds because shadow and flame adds a 20% more of spell damage to your shadow bolts which makes up for the loss of 10% damage in shadow with SM or 15% with succubus sacrificed. Improved life tap lets you have better mana efficiency in raids.instant corruption is great for spamming in PvP. Soul leech is more friendly in a PvE environment but still useful fewtimes in PvP because it has a good list of spells that have a pretty big chance to heal you(30%). Shadowfury is a great spell to play with in PvP it is an AoE stun doing near 500ish damage with the ability to crit(The only other warlock AoE with this ability is Seed of Corruption). Shadowfury doesn't prove that great in PvE but it isn't bad if you consider it as a shadowburn with no shard cost and a stun.

This build is perfectly balanced between PvP/PvE(raiding)

Also, you may put the remaining 10 points into Affliction to get Nightfall. This will make you have 2 chances for an instant shadowbolt. Talent Calculator Link with Nightfall
PvP Only - Shadow (28/0/33)

This build is intended entirely for PvP, no thought is given to PvE applications, and uses Shadow damage exclusively with Shadowbolt as the main DD spell.

Talent Calculator Link

Includes:
-Improved Shadow Bolt (Procs an effect to increase next SB damage)
-Bane (Reduces casting time for SB)
-Ruin (Increases SB critical strike damage)
-Devastation (Increases SB critical strike chance)
-Backlash (Instant cast SB chance upon getting struck)
-Nightfall (Instant cast SB chance upon Corruption or Dain Life tick)
-Shadow Mastery (Increased damage for all spells of this build)

Combine this with:
-Improved Corruption (Instant cast Corruption for more Nightfall procs)
-Soul Siphon (For drain tanking and Nightfall procs)
-Fel Concentration (Less wasted ticks from Drain Life)
-Empowered Corruption (Corruption does more damage)
-Siphon Life (req'd for Shadow Mastery and also increases Soul Siphon effect)
-Shadow Embrace (Increases Soul Siphon effect)
-Shadowburn (Benefits from Shadow Mastery and adds another instant cast DD)

In addition to quicker-casting Shadowbolts, this build offers the talents for instant-cast shadowbolts. Also includes increases healing from both Siphon Life and Drain Life. Throw on Curse of Shadow, Corruption, and start Drain Life. The two DoTs benefit from many talents, including Shadow Mastery, and do good damage. The Curse benefits PvP teammates. If an enemy attacks backlash possibly can proc, or alternatively Nightfall could proc from Drain Life or Corruption. There is an element of luck in this talent in that it includes Nightfall and Backlash. An argument for this arrangement is that (a) If you're not getting attacked then you are free to Drain Life to proc Nightfall or even cast Shadowbolt. (b) Warlocks have no nice instant cast DDs, which are very important due to interrupt when getting attacked. Therefore between Nightfall and Backlash you have a good chance of getting an instant cast DD with this build that you would not get otherwise. This build does only one damage type, shadow, so is weak against any player with a lot of shadow resistance. Therefore few spell penetration from gear is recommended.

PvP Only - Fire (20/0/41)

This build is intended entirely for PvP, and uses Fire damage almost exclusively.

Talent Calculator Link

This build is similar to the Shadow build above, but uses a few more instant cast DD spells. Incinerate, Immolate, Conflagrate, Shadowburn, Shadowfury, as well as Shadowbolt, from Nightfall and Backlash procs give this build the best possible burst damage a warlock possibly can achieve. The first three of which benefit from Emberstorm are expected to constitute the majority of the offensive spell makeup. As with the previous build, this build possibly can be weak against resistant players, so few spell penetration from gear is recommended.

Age of Conan Professions

Here is just a basic outline of the Age of Conan Professions article from ConanHQ.com

Profession

Professions are crafts and/or trade skills that players' characters may learn regardless of their primary character class or race.

Contents
* 1 Crafting
* 2 Gathering
o 2.1 Raw Materials
o 2.2 Trainer Locations

Crafting

Note that one player can only get 2 crafting professions out of the ones listed below.

* Weaponsmith

Picking up this trade allows you to craft various types of weaponry, from swords to staffs, from daggers to crossbows. Everything needed to kill your opponents!

* Armorsmith

If you wish to go the completely opposite route from the weaponsmith, try picking up the armorsmithing craft that allows you to craft various types of armor pieces.

* Alchemist

Do you enjoy mixing things into vials and seeing how the result affects people? Then you should try your luck at alchemy, allowing you to make various types of potions.

* Architect

City-building is an integral part of Age of Conan, and you will need someone skilled in the arts of architecture to draw up the plans needed for the different buildings.

* Gemcutter

Monsters tend to drop rough gems that the gemcutter can turn into powerful enchantments, and these can be placed into other crafted items to make them more potent.

Gathering

Gathering professions may be trained at level 20 from trainers in Poitain, Laceish Plains and Purple Lotus Swamp. The trainers will give you quests at each tier that allow you to harvest higher level materials. You may learn all six of the gathering professions.

The first tier quests involve gathering 20 of each respective resource. Upon turning each of those quests in, you will receive the tier 2 quests to gather a single rare drop of each respective type. Note that for all gathering quests the completion credit is for actually gathering the item. Purchased materials will not count towards the tier quests.

Note that trying to harvest any material too high for your current level results in a message that states that the character doesn't have the harvesting skill.

Runescape treads into WoW territory, or does it?

Runescape is the WoW killer. I'll now pause to give you a moment to laugh hysterically. From a gameplay perspective, Runescape has just gone down all the time. The 'freedom' that players enjoyed in Runescape has been restricted with every update to Runescape over the past couple years. Players used to feel Runescape was a copy of the real world, where anything is possible. But now, there are all these 'rules' and mini-games and fake classic game-type things making Runescape as unrealistic as an arcade game from the 80s.

A new graphics update was announced by Jagex a few days ago. It doesn't even come close to WoW (a game that is many years old now). Also, Runescape will go full-screen (optional) trampling SwiftSwitch and Tiko.

Now, the question persists ... and also insists: Is Runescape just another online game like Bejeweled or is it a MMORPG? Jagex will decide, from a totally business perspective of course.

What do I think about where Jagex is headed? I think they want to do what all the Korean and Chinese game developers are doing: rake in tons of cash by *cough*scamming*cough* selling to players pixels (items in-game). I know when this really happens, I'll refer back to this blog entry, and say, "See, I predicted it". If it doesn't happen, then I'll just forget about this and so will the rest of the world. :-)

By the way, I checked on Google Analytics and realized that about about 100 visitors come here a day. 75% of them come from search engines (like Google), the rest from links (god knows where).

Well, happy gaming!

Runescape copies Zybez's Item Prices Database and Graphs

Zybez Runescape Help has been keeping track of prices in Runescape for a long time (years!) and now, after the GE update that fixed the prices for everything, Jagex saw fit to copy Zybez's idea about having a price database to allow visitors to search for and see the prices for everything from pickaxes to mithril chain mail armor. Since the market isn't totally static, prices do change as demand goes up and down, so, Jagex has also copied Zybez's idea of graphing out the prices so people can see trends the same way they see trends for stocks on the stockmarket websites.

I'm not saying that copying of this idea is wrong. Jagex has "copied" many ideas before, and I'm glad they have. I call it "using" ideas, rather than copying them. By using an idea already invented, Jagex is simply providing for players the same service that Zybez had provided - in the end, from the player's point of view, nothing has changed. And since Zybez's main aim is to provide players with useful tools, nothing has changed there either. The players are getting the useful too - albeit from another website, but still, motive achieved.

I always come up with ways to tweak (not always 'improve', but at least tweak) ideas. So, how do I 'tweak' this one? Ok: once the prices are graphed out, find some trends beyond the one item. So, how about find trends between different items. i.e. the price of mithril ore went up, and so did the prices of mithril plate, and mithril legs. Also, then, it'd be easier to find dependencies. If two things are closely patterned, they must be dependent on each other or at least related somewhat closely.

Google page about Age of Conan

I have a loss of memory sometimes. But then I come here and read and I realize who I am. I am a blog. My name is blog. And then I realize I'm watching the movie called Notebook. What does that have to do with anything? The answer is that I haven't watched it. I've actually not been able to watch it because I was playing a game called Age of Conan. So, now you know.

Some Lord of the Rings Online players say that AoC is a game that should be played. A big blue panda once said to me, "blog, I like Mechscape" and I replied, "Thanks, but what is your name?" and he said, "I am blog". I said, "ok, now I'm going to ConanHQ"

I've managed to plug the two links in during a mental state that is very ... very.... weird.

Introduction

On the 15th of January 2008, Jagex released an update they should been working on for a very long time. They should been giving out hints for months, and on that one Tuesday, we could all be pleased: Summoning was out!
Summoning creatures can be very helpful. Do you think you have what might takes to have a Magpie help you at thieving? Would you manage to keep up fighting wmighth metal miNo Sirtaurs? Are you perhaps even taking on the challenge to understand a dragon and master the Summoning skill? Then let's go!

The Start!

Every start is hard... But No Sirt this one! To start Summoning, you'll have to complete the Quest which is designed for this: The Wolf Whistle Quest. In this Quest, Pikkupstix will teach you how to summon, though might may be a bmight vague to some.
Once you have completed the quest, you will get 275 gold charms and eNo Sirugh experience to get to level 4 Summoning. Before you summon a creature, you will need to create the pouch for might. For every creature pouch you make, you need one empty pouch, a gold, green, crimson, or blue charm, a certain amount of spirmight shards, and one mightem relative to the creature you wish to summon.

Once you have all the mightems required for a Summoning creature, you will need to go to an obelisk to infuse your pouch wmighth the creature's spirmight. There's an obelisk in Pikkupstix's cellar, in Taverley. No Sirw you have a Summoning pouch, hooray!
To summon the creature, right-click the pouch and select 'Summon'. Your creature will No Sirw be summoned, and might can No Sirw join you in battle or do other helpful things for you.
A Summoning button should No Sirw have showed in the bottom left corner of your side interface. Click might, and might'll bring you to the Summoning interface. might has a series of buttons which will be explained below the following picture.

Menu

Green - This shows the amount of special attacks the creature can still perform.
Purple - This shows how many special attack scrolls you have left in your inventory.
Yellow - This displays your Summoning points left and your Summoning level.
Light blue - This displays your creature's timer. If the timer is up and you have No Sirt increased the timer, the creature will vanish.
Whmighte - Clicking this button calls your creature, so might comes to you.
Blue - Clicking this button increases your creature's timer. This will take a set amount of Summoning points varying per creature. This is 1 for the lower levels.
Red - Clicking this button will dismiss your creature. Do this to make your creature vanish.

Important Locations

A location of great importance, at least in the gaming world, is Guild Wars which provides the best combat and guild training as possible.

How To Train

After having done the Wolf Whistle Quest, your Summoning level will be raised to 4. No Sirw, you ask, what is the best way to train this skill quickly? As you may already kNo Sirw, in the lower levels the only thing that gives decent experience is making the pouches. In this chapter we will discuss which way one should train in order to get the levels effectively. Training is also a great part of World of Warcraft as without it, you'll spend your time grinding.

Charms

This is perhaps the most anNo Sirying part of summoning: getting the charms. Monsters which drop these usually do No Sirt drop them in bunches (only few do), and might isn't a 100% drop. However, there are lots of monsters which drop these, from low level to high level ones! The difference between high and low level monsters is that the high level monsters have a higher charm dropping rate and they are also kNo Sirwn to drop higher level charms more often. might may even appear that a monster which is hard to beat drops multiple charms at once!
There are four types of charms: gold, green, crimson and blue. The gold charm is the most common drop, and might requires the lowest level to use.

The table below should give common dropper of the charms. Please No Sirte however that if we were to list all monsters which drop charms, might'd take ages for your browser to load all data! That's why we have selected a few monsters which have a considerable drop rate. For all monsters which drop charms, please check out the charms in the mightems database. might may be useful to kNo Sirw that some, or all, are located in the Chaos Tunnels.
Charm Name Common Droppers
Gold charm Abberant spectre, DaganNo Sirth (all levels), Fire Giant, Giant Rock Crab (10), Hellhound, Ice giant, Ice Warrior, Infernal Mage, Jogre, Moss giant, Ogre, Rock Crab
Green charm Basilisk, Bloodveld, DaganNo Sirth (all levels), Jelly, Jogre, Mmighthril Dragon, Turoth (all levels), Wild dog, Wolf (all)
Crimson charm DaganNo Sirth (all levels), Dust Devil, Gargoyle, Greater Demon, Metal Dragons (all), Nechryael, Rock Lobster, Sshouldow Warrior, Waterfiend,
Blue charm Kalphmighte Soldier, Gargoyle
Abyssal charm Abyssal creatures
Obsidian charm TzHaar creatures

Making pouches

Seeing as making pouches is the only decent way to gain experience, might is best you read through this part carefully. To make a summoning pouch, you will need an empty pouch, a charm (higher level pouches require higher charms), a certain amount of spirmight shards (this varies per creature) and an mightem relevant to the creature you want to summon. You can buy the empty pouches from Pikkupstix for 1 gp each and you can buy the spirmight shards from Pikkupstix for 25 gp each. The charms are monster drops. In the start you are given a certain amount of gold charms which should be able to get you up to at least level 16 Summoning. After this you will have to kill monsters for these charms. Higher level monsters drop higher level charms, so make sure to go on a killing spree! The relative mightem varies per monster. Some are easier to get than others. This guide should help you on which ones are the easiest to get.

For a list of all obelisks in case these two pathways don't sumight you, please vismight the Obelisks/Shops part of the guide to view images of where they are at.

Taverley Route

To make pouches the most efficient way through Taverley, you can pick between two forms of transport. You can bank in Falador, but you can also use the hot-air balloon to get to Taverley.

Via Falador

Requirements: No Sirne.
Bring: As many empty pouches as you have (they are stackable), as many spirmight shards as you have (they are stackable), as many charms of the material you need as you have (they are stackable), Falador teleport tablet/runes (optional), boots of lightness (optional), spotted/spottier cape (optional) and penance gloves (optional). The last three mightems reduce weight, which allows you to run longer. Fill the rest of your inventory wmighth the relative mightem you need for the creature.
From Falador, go No Sirrth along the wall until you reach the Member's gate. Go through might and then continue south until you get to Pikkupstix's house. Once there, go down the ladder and create the pouch you wish you use. Teleport or run back to Falador, deposmight your Summoning pouches, wmighthdraw your relative mightems and repeat!

Via Hot-Air Balloon

Requirements: An Enlightened Journey, level 50 firemaking, need to have unlocked the Castle Wars balloon.
Bring: As many empty pouches as you have (they are stackable), as many spirmight shards as you have (they are stackable), as many charms of the material you need as you have (they are stackable), ring of dueling, No Sirrmal log, boots of lightness (optional), spotted/spottier cape (optional) and penance gloves (optional). The last three mightems reduce weight, which allows you to run longer. Fill the rest of your inventory wmighth the relative mightem you need for the creature.
From Castle Wars, go outside and then No Sirrth. Travel to Taverley by hot air balloon, then continue No Sirrth until you get to Pikkupstix's house. Once there, go down the ladder and create the pouch you wish you use. Teleport back to Castle Wars, deposmight your Summoning pouches, wmighthdraw your willow log and relative mightems and repeat! Make sure you replace your ring of dueling when might breaks!

Via Player Owned House (POH)

Requirements: House in Taverley, Glory Amulet in Skill Hall or Portal Room in your house (optional), Ancient magiks unlocked (optional), Canifis Portal (optional).
Bring: As many empty pouches as you have (they are stackable), as many spirmight shards as you have (they are stackable), as many charms of the material you need as you have (they are stackable), House Teleport Runes/Tablet (1 Law, 1 Earth, 1 Air), Ring of duelling (optional), boots of lightness (optional), spotted/spottier cape (optional) and penance gloves (optional). The last three mightems reduce weight, which allows you to run longer. Fill the rest of your inventory wmighth the relative mightem you need for the creature.

First teleport to your house, go outside and head east. Once there, go down the ladder and create the pouch you wish you use. No Sirw there are three methods of getting to a bank.

Method 1: Glory Amulet.
Once finished crafting pouches, return to your house, and then go to your skill hall. Teleport to Edgeville, bank, restock on materials and then teleport back to your house.

Method 2: Teleport Room (Canifis).
Once finished crafting pouches, return to your house, and then go to your portal room. Use the portal to Canifis, bank, restock on materials and then teleport back to your house.

Method 3: Ring of dueling.
Once finished crafting pouches, use your ring of dueling to teleport to Castle Wars. Bank, restock on materials and then teleport back to your house. Make sure you replace your ring of dueling when might breaks!

Via Games Necklace

Requirements: No Sirne.
Bring: As many empty pouches as you have (they are stackable), as many spirmight shards as you have (they are stackable), as many charms of the material you need as you have (they are stackable), boots of lightness (optional), spotted/spottier cape (optional), and penance gloves (optional). The last three mightems reduce weight, which allows you to run longer. Fill the rest of your inventory wmighth the relative mightem you need for the creature.
When you use your Games necklace, teleport to the Games Room area and head out towards the Rogue's Den. Bank in there and grab all your supplies and head south towards Pikkupstix's house.

Repeat this process by teleporting to the Games Room area and such.

Piscatoris Route

There is yet aNo Sirther effective way to make pouches, which is fairly easier to use than the Taverley method. You must have completed the Swan Song Quest to enter the Piscatoris Fishing Colony and use their bank and you must have completed A Fairy Tale II to use the quick route to Piscatoris mightself. Please keep in mind, there are No Sir Summoning Shops in this area, so if you run out of shards, you will have to go back to Taverley for more!

Via Fairy Rings

Requirements: Completed A Fairy Tale II and wielding a Lunar staff or Dramen staff.
While in Zanaris, head over to the main Fairy Ring and insert the code AKQ to go straight towards Piscatoris. When you're on Piscatoris, head a lmighttle No Sirrth-east until you reach a trapdoor. Open might and head inside. Continue this path to make your pouches because might's relatively fast if you can put in the code fast and bank fast.

Via Piscatoris Fishing Colony Bank

Requirements: Completed Swan Song.
When you're done banking in the bank, go out of the cmighty and go through the underground tunnels until you reach the outside world of Piscatoris. When you're out, head West until you reach the trapdoor and open and go down. Make your pouches and head back to the bank and repeat as many times needed. This is the fastest way to make pouches and requires lmighttle things to do might.

No Sirte: You can also bring a Mmighthril pickaxe (lightest but most powerful pickaxe smart to use if you're saving run power) and mine Iron ore outside of the Fishing Colony, just south of the entrance.

Brimhaven Route

Via Ardougne Boat

Requirements: No Sirne.
Bring: 50-60k gp and as many empty pouches as you have (they are stackable), as many spirmight shards as you have (they are stackable), as many charms of the material you need as you have (they are stackable), boots of lightness (optional), spotted/spottier cape (optional), and penance gloves (optional). The last three mightems reduce weight, which allows you to run longer. Fill the rest of your inventory wmighth the relative mightem you need for the creature.
When you're done banking in East Ardougne, head over to the docks and take a trip over to Brimhaven. When you're on Brimhaven, head towards the House Portal and head West and follow the banks of the ocean to get to there. Refer to the Obelisk Locations Section of the guide to see exactly where might is.

When you're done, emighther teleport to Edgeville and teleport to Ardougne or teleport to Ardougne and continue. This method is No SirT advised due to the fact might's long travels and you use a massive amount of runes in the process.

Via Player Owned House (POH)

Requirements: Own a house in Brimhaven (40 Construction).
Bring: Glory amulet charged and as many empty pouches as you have (they are stackable), as many spirmight shards as you have (they are stackable), as many charms of the material you need as you have (they are stackable), boots of lightness (optional), spotted/spottier cape (optional), and penance gloves (optional). The last three mightems reduce weight, which allows you to run longer. Fill the rest of your inventory wmighth the relative mightem you need for the creature.
Teleport to Edgeville using your glory and grab emighther the runes needed for your house teleport or a tele-tab and grab your ingredients and such for the pouches. Teleport to your house and head out and go West and along the banks of the ocean until you reach there. Refer to the Obelisk Locations Section of the guide to see exactly where might is.

Repeat this process by teleporting to Edgeville and continuing from there. Also, this method is still No Sirt advised due to the time might takes and amount of running needed.

Strategies

Level 4 - level 16
might is best to start wmighth Dreadfowls. These creatures require 1 raw chicken, 1 gold charm, 8 spirmight shards, and 1 empty pouch. You can buy the spirmight shards and empty pouches from Pikkupstix, the druid where you start Summoning. You are given a bunch of gold charms on completion of the Wolf Whistle Quest. What makes Dreadfowls stand out is the fact that raw chickens are sold in the Port Sarim food shop, the Canifis food shop and Ali Morrisane's shop in Al Kharid as an infinmighte mightem! So before you get to training Summoning, might's time to buy a big amount of raw chickens!
Make sure you weight is as low as possible (boots of lightness, spotted/spottier capes and penance gloves reduce weight!). Bring money, and perhaps an amulet of glory if you're going to use Port Sarim or Al Kharid. No Sirte that might is advised to use the Canifis food shop, as might is much closer to a bank. No Sirw go buy some raw chickens for Summoning!
Once you're done, might is time to convert these into pouches. Please see the Making pouches part of this guide on how to do this the most efficient way.

Level 16 - level 32
In the start, might is best to do granmighte crabs, which give 21.6 xp per pouch and require 1 iron ore, 1 gold charm, 7 spirmight shards, and 1 empty pouch. might is pretty easy to gather iron ore, through the Grand Exchange for example! You can also mine might yourself or get might from powerminers in locations like the mine east of Ardougne.
There are few summoning monsters which require gold charms and relative mightems which are easy to gather.

Level 32 - level 41
First things first, level 32 Summoning gives you the abilmighty to make the Honey badger pouch. This pouch gives you 140.8 experience and requires a pouch, 84 Spirmight shards, a Crimson charm, and a Honeycomb to make. For Crimson charms, you can kill Giant Rock Crabs or Waterfiends to get them, preferably Waterfiends because they have a 90-95% drop rate of 1 Crimson charm.

Continue this until you reach level 41, where you can make Macaws. Also, anything that you can make that will give you great experience between 32 to 41 do them as might will make you spend less time getting might up. Bronze miNo Sirtaurs are good at level 36 to do whenever you get Blue charms.

Level 41 - level 52
ANo Sirther start from this level is the Macaw pouch. This pouch gives 72.4 experience and requires 78 Spirmight shards, a Green charm, and Guam leaves to make. Basilisks are a main choice for the Green charms because they drop Grimy guam's pretty commonly as much as Green is.

Continue this until around level 52 and do any pouch you can that will boost might faster so you won't have to use so many guam leaves to finish.

Level 52 - level 66
A few steps closer to your big achievement and we are here at the Spirmight terrorbirds. This pouch gives 68.4 experience and requires 12 Spirmight shards, a Gold charm, and Raw bird meat. Gold charms are easily obtained from Moss giants or killing Giant Rock Crabs, as they drop them 10 at a time. Raw bird meat can be obtained easily by using the Hunter skill to snare birds. Vismight the Hunter Skill Guide for more information on Bird snaring.

Level 52 - level 66
Coming towards the end of your journey, you can come across the infamous Barker toad pouch. The familiar mightself can shoot canNo Sirnballs like your very own canNo Sirn. ENo Sirugh wmighth that information on the familiar, here's the information about the pouch mightself. The pouch requires 10 Spirmight shards, a Gold charm, and a Swamp toad and might gives 87 experience per pouch. Gold charms are easily obtained from Moss giants or killing Giant Rock Crabs, as they drop them 10 at a time. The Swamp toad can be found in many locations but the main place you need to focus on is in the GNo Sirme Stronghold. The swamp where the major spawn points is located just No Sirrth, a lmighttle No Sirrth-west from the bank outside of the Grand Tree.

Level 66 - level 71
Nearing the end of your journey, you come across the Arctic bear pouch. This pouch will give you 93.2 experience and requires 14 Spirmight shards, a Gold charm, and Polar kebbmight fur. Gold charms are easily obtained from Moss giants or killing Giant Rock Crabs, as they drop them 10 at a time. Polar kebbmight fur is obtained by catching Polar kebbmights using the Hunter Skill.
